Will it ever end?

Mother's Day is almost over and not a minute too soon.  It seems like it never rains but it pours.  I learned today that my dear friend's husband is in ICU after surgery - they think he might have a pulmonary embolism. 
Joe tried to make the day as pleasant as possible and I did have glimmers of peace.  He cooked supper for me - tapas and it was lovely.  We went to the garden center and got some plants to put on our balcony.  I found a beautiful Gerbera Daisy plant (Lisa loved having them in her VW bug).  I also found a plant (cant remember it's name) that my mother used to love.  So I remembered Lisa and Mum with flowers.  I also still have a candle burning.
Tomorrow is going to be another difficult day to get through.  It would be Lisa and Harvey's 15th anniversary.  It is harder yet because he is now with Beth.  It just is so depressing. 
So I think I will forgo Green Smiley Monday tomorrow.
I hope this week improves!
