Wife's Surgery
My wife will be having knee replacement on Tuesday. We are to be at the hospital at 8am. She is the first scheduled on the surgery docket. 2 yrs. ago, she had her right knee replaced, last year, she had her left hip replaced because she'd worn it out compensating for her right knee, now, she is having her left knee replaced. She limps terribly and she has to hold on to me whenever we go anywhere. Hopefully, this new knee on the other side will help her walk more normally so she can do some of the things she enjoys doing. She knows recovery is slow but, she's been through it before. She will be in the hospital approx. 3 to 4 days. We are hoping she is home by Saturday.

UPDATE ON MY WIFE'S SURGERY:
The surgery went well. She is not in much pain except when physical therapy people show up. Our grand-daughter has stayed the last 2 nights with her, If all goes well, she should get to come home tomorrow (Fri.). I will have to stay close to the house for the next few days to help her with the PT machine and getting in and out of the shower. She had her right knee replaced 2 yrs. ago so she knows the routine and what to expect. Overall, she is doing very well.
My wife got home today. She is resting but, doing well.
