The weekend is upon us... Yea! Alex will be back home tomorrow for 5 days and I am so glad. I know I cant use her as a tool, but she is like a hammer in my gamble free tool box. i dont go gambling when she is with me~~That was corny! What I mean is, I just do not leave her to gamble. If she is here, then know that I am not gambling. We have a busy weekend planned. Saturday we are going school clothes shopping and then over to a friend's for a pool party. Then Sunday... drum roll please.... we are going to see Wicked. We have been waiting a whole year to see this show and its finally in town. It is the story of the Witches of "OZ" before the Wizard of OZ. I havent read the book, but Kasey has and said some of it is inappropriate. But I am sure that the play/opera will not have any negativity too it---I hope. I have been practicing "starving" my AV (addictive voice). Dont be laughing at me or thinking I'm crazy now! I got the website from a member support group on DS. I have just went thru the flashcards once, but I think I will go again after I finish this JE. It made sense to me and I could relate to what they were saying. Dang...I'm at the point where I'm willing to try almost anything and everything. I want a sense of "normalcy" restored in my head. For about the last year it has just been a whirlwind of activity upstairs. Need some calming action before I trip and fall down the stairs. Have a good weekend... I know I will!!!

It sounds like you\'ll have a wonderful weekend! A play/opera is gonna\' be so nice, even if there\'s a bit of negativity...isn\'t art suppose to reflect life? It\'ll all gonna\' be fine, you got your hammer ;)
Now I\'m gonna\' give you another tool, well actually, it\'s not a tool, it\'s a whole construction crew! Don\'t worry, it\'ll fit in your tool box. When you\'re alone, by yourself, and that creepy urge to sneak off and destroy yourself pops into your mind, get your tool box out, oh, just leave it open at all times, and let the men in this crew cheer you out of it! Excuse their language, they are construction guys! lol In other words, you can\'t give yourself permission to falter when no one else is around, you\'re somebody, and you matter. That\'s what the construction guys tell me. They start out with a plot of land, that\'s starting at the bottom. Steadfastly they begin their job, from the ground UP! And when they get finished with that building, they top it off with a flag and have a party, before going on to the next job. They drive all those big ummm...construction types of trucks, you know, with the giant wheels, and what not, to the next site, and start all over again. They wear their hard hats in case they fall...put your hard hat on, Shelia, it goes with anything! Works on a bad hair day, too ;)

Hey, you\'ve got a whole construction crew behind you...come on, boys...Shelia\'s starting from the ground up! I think one guy just gave you a wink and a whistle! Back to work, fella\'s! And watch your language, there\'s a lady present...oh, blonds are real head turners for these guys! LOL Don\'t I think I\'m funny!
