Why is she doing this?????
Ok so i am in contact with a old co- worker from a job i used to have years ago. and we reconnected on facebook and back in march i asked her if she would want to get together to catch up, and she answered saying YES and i was so excited but ever since March she keeps saying to me over facebook that she still wants to see me but then never comments to anything, and its killing me cuz i keep getting my hopes up and i get really excited that she would want to see me. so why does she keep bringing it up???????, i mean i have never brought it up since the first time back in march and since then i have never brought it up but since march she keeps bringing it up. so this is really messing with me cuz i would really love to see her. why is she doing this?????????? i just don't know what to do or what to think anymore. i just don't get this at all!!!!! any advice anyone?

Sorry to hear this is happening. Maybe it isn\'t about you. Maybe she has anxiety disorder, and wants to see you, but is afraid it won\'t work out. Or maybe she is very busy. Like most people. Could you ask her nicely if you could set a date to go for coffee? Good to see you joined the Christian Eating Disorder group. I hope to see you post.

I\'m sorry to hear this is upsetting you. It certainly is understandable that you would feel that way. I agree with the other comments, all you can do is ask her directly if she wants to meet for something simple like coffee as was already suggested. Who knows what is going on. Sometimes people say yes because they don\'t feel comfortable saying no directly. Some people are always saying to other people that they ought to get together for this and that but never actually follow through. I don\'t think you can go wrong asking a question directly if you ask with grace and warmth. It\'s okay to take a risk.
