Why is life so complicated. Surely its me making it that way

I was shopping in the store tody where Debbie used to work. I have been semi avoidin going I there for a while as it always makes me miss her when I'm in there? The people her second family have been fantastic over the time and the whole store came to her funeral to say goodbye to her. They loved here and she loved them. Anyway I was in there shoppinsomething new light stitch today and had managed to avoid all the staff there. I was stood at the till when one of the ladies there caught my eye and the look said I needtrout all to you so she came overe and asked me if anyone had spoken to me. I said no knowing that something was comming and sheis aid that it was comming up to debs Aniversary (not a word I would have picked) and hey wanted to plant a tree in her memory I was caught on the back foot and stuttered a reply of I had no objection and where they planned to plant it she did not know. I left telling her I would let my daughter know and get back to her.
Now I have had timetoo think I am even more confused. It is a nice idea and she did llove trees. Butdon't sure how I feel of a reminders like that. My Fear is what if it dies, what if it gets vandalised and more importantly can I walk past it daily weekly yearl knowing what itmeans.
Why is life never simple anymore.

Because your pain is so acute every thought is a reminder that she is gone. Grief complicates life. As time passes and as you go through the stages you will find moments where these same memories that haunt you because she is gone will fill your heart with a smile because she lived. As for the tree, it will grow to represent not her, but their love of her. Sharon
