why does it seem like no matter how hard i try to make friends, every person always gets sick of me????? its really making me feel really lonely. what am i doing wrong???
Make friends for their sake - not because you need someone to keep you from getting lonely. People want to be loved and valued for who they are, not because you need someone. This is from experience.
Are you coming across to them as Being too Needy ? Or are you telling them right away about your ADD ? These things Might be Pushing people away from you- I don\'t know--- ??? Hang in there- Things always find a way of working itself out - sooner or later- You have Friends here on DS- that Like you - Love you- Stick with your DS Friends- that Can Relate to You - Love ya
i play sport to make friends and generally i take a long time before i consider someone really a friend. i like to see about a year or two of consistent behavior before i consider it a friendship.
another way of meeting people is doing charity work, a good deed and something social, however, if that is too timeconsuming, if you become a home health person, you will be doing a great service, paid for and those people really need visitors. its not a friendship but it is something similar to one, and it really matters. xxoo
