Why Can't It Just Be Over With
So my NC went out the window yesterday. My STBX contacted me at work concerning getting off of my cellphone plan and transferring over to a new one completely for him. Sure enough he pays his portion of the bill, I am actually glad that he wants to get off my plan. I am tired of looking at all the skanks' numbers he calls and how our sons' phone numbers only appear once a week (if that) for 1 minute. The problem I am having with this change is he is rushing me to remove him from my account. In order to do this, I have to catch a bus 1 hour out of the way of going home because this contract change cannot be take care of over the phone. Believe me, I want him off my plan completely, but why start hounding me when you just told me?
Also, even though he is no longer pursuing half of the contents of my home, he wants the boys video game system. He sent me that request in a text. Really? Your sons play this almost everyday and you want to take it from them? I talked it over with the boys and they want to keep it. I, do, however, want to give it to my STBX just so there is no animosity and buy the boys a new one. I don't know what to do about this situation. I just want it all to be done and over with so I can be at peace.

The video game system issue is extremely petty; it would be best for him to just buy his own - sounds like he is deliberately TRYING to hurt the boys and/or you...upgrading to the newest consoles will not be cost effective as the games are not backwards compatible (unless you have the Wii), they don\'t have a lot of games out yet, and the new ones are expensive ($60)...
As far as the phone plan - I\'m not sure why he can\'t just persue this on his own, as well even if it means getting a new number - especially if he has a sense of urgency about it; I don\'t know...

I received a call from my cell carrier for the switch and they were able to do it via phone, because my STBX did it as a three-way call. So, at least that is done. You are right with the game system. I checked online after I read your comment and I cannot afford to buy a new model until the divorce is over with and he starts paying child support. You are also right that I do have a real \"winner\" on my hands. Thanks for the info and support.
