Why all the fuss for a baby no one knows???

My best friend asked if I would ever share this message with the world, and I wasn't sure that I would but after a while I realized that if it only helped one person out there to understand what an Angel Mother goes through then it's worth it. When we announced only the day after Jeremy arrived that we were planning his funeral someone asked us "WHY? Why make a fuss over a baby no one knew? Why go to all the trouble?" and at the time I was so shocked and heartbroken to hear this that I just simply could not answer right away but my husband answered her.. "You know me! You know us! Be there for us, because we need you!" She was there, and when she saw our little angel she was so heartbroken that she ran out of the room crying and saying "I'm sorry, I'm so sorry I just didn't understand!"

Because..
Jeremy is our son,
He is a baby brother,
He is a grandson,
A Great grandson
A nephew and a cousin,
He is a dream come true
No matter how short our dreams lasted.
We dreamt of him for a long time,
We heard his little heart beat,
We felt his first little kicks,
We saw our little boy on the ultrasound
Then we were told the unimaginable….
 
I gave birth to Jeremy,
We held him in our arms,
And looked upon his angelic little face
We held his hand and we cried…
 
Why make a fuss over a baby no one knew?
Because we dream of angels
We got to hold ours,
And will forever in our hearts.
