Whoop whoop
Can I get a "whoop whoop"? 3 days of kids (minimum) and then 2 days of clean up and then I'm OUT OF HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Don't I sound silly? anyway, it's been a long time coming and I'm ready.
I have Hunter Friday to Sunday - it's a beach day, movies and just love on him a little - he is 16 after all.
Well, I am getting excited about the retreat, especially letting Ann know my t-shirt size, flight info, etc.... I cannot begin to tell you to actually meet YOU who I feel so close to because of DS - so excited!!
I'm feeling good today - a student awhile ago asked me what my favorite candy was - I told him milk chocolate gives me a headache but that I love "Swedish Fish" - they are kind of like dots.....he doesn't know, but my Jennifer ate them when she was getting her Chemo because she had a bad taste in her mouth so everytime I see them or eat them, my daughter is right next to me.....
This morning, this student who I see everyday for daily meds, and can be quite the stinker, brought me the biggest bag of Swedish Fish and a card with his own handwriting, Thanking me for being so kind and patient.....well, sisters, the tears flowed and I am ever so grateful......Love that kid -

Whoop, Whoop, Whopee! I'm excited with and for YOU. Knowing too what fun it is to BE with your Hunter and those times shared are just so very precious.
I'm looking forward to meeting you and many of the other moms as well. Each retreat is such a blessing and comes with its own aha moments for me and most of all being able to hug each of you who has held my "virtual hand and heart" is what means the very most to me. Hoping many will join us and excited too!

Wow, Hunter is 16? Such a neat time to have interesting conversations with him, I can imagine. Have fun!
