Who"s Got My Voodoo Doll????

I would love to know who's jabbing the pin pricks into my stubby little dirty minded doll. Perhaps I am being punished? LOL I am doing physical therapy to strengthen my core and loosen very tight muscles everywhere from legs to back and neck. The thing is, the back will feel better, but then the feet and back of neck throb in pain. They loosen up then there's a twitch in the back or hip again. Is like there is a moving strobe going throughout me.

So listen, whoever should come across my voodoo doll, could you remove the daggers and maybe do some resculpting? I'd like to be a size 5. Bahaha

I am trying to be grateful for all I do have... Was an attempt at humor. Excuse me

I'm glad you still have a sense of humor. But on a serious note, does your therapy include massage? A good massage therapist can bring a lot of relief. I hope that you are also taking vitamins that help the nerves. I think B complex is important, for example. Make sure it's a good quality kind, and not synthetic. Hope you find major relief soon.

My PT does not include massage (wish it did) but they do apply heat at the conclusion which feels quite good.

You need to stretch those muscles so they won't tighten up on you, Apply moist heat and massage. Those tens machines work quite well, also....kinda like doing exercise without actually doing exercise. I loved physical therapy....had it a total of 5 times on my back and it helped alot albeit only temporary and that's why I had to keep going..... as for the pain, tell them to rub some biofreeze on the pain spots and it will go away.

~~~Peace~~~
The stretching is what has helped the most and I had some past exercises that I knew I needed to continue to get me this far. Now am working on strengthening too.
I'd give you the massage of a life time if I could, right now I'm under at least a foot of snow with no end in sight.
And I would gladly take you up on it. Here we started out with about 3 inches but turned to rain and melted and packed it down. Now it's snowing again.
This is great that you're focusing on your body. When my body is happy I tend to be much better off. I've learned that some of our nerves are really long and affect many areas. It's not surprising that the aches pop up like wack a mole. Keep it up and find what combo of exercise works for you. Your body will find its rhythm :) Love the voodoo. humor!
