WHITE STUFF !
Jeesh...sure aint summer no more...I got up at 4:30 am and low and behold ... there was a bright Lite in my back yard..Blindin white light.. then there was a Loud Rumble and the appartment tremored lightly...(dang trains) Okay so I'm awake now... made some coffee...watched tthe train rumble on thru...(WAT?)Den I noticed it be snowin... Yeppers Ever notice how ya get shivers watchin a movie about snow in the summer...Yah I got shivers dis moanin... lookin outt that window at all that White stuff...It aint much... mostly just on the sidewalks, and steps... dat meanz I gotta shovel it off...Yepp I like snow.. Mostly...Don't much care for shovelin dat chit tho...jeesh got potty fingers ...be right bak... gonna wash my hands ...learn them fingers darn em... okay now behave...Wher was I...?Oh yeah... that means my little monster doggy gonna be a Chilly dog lol... So I put on her dress... Put on my big coat...gloves, grabbed my cane, tossed the doggy out the back door.. (she likes it...) she be sniffin the old ridin mower...messin around markin territory while I shoveled the back side walk...Hey doggy ya done yet...hurry up will ya...So she kinda looks atme like I be tellin her how to do her business...then she sneezes walks around in a circle few times....(well ya know how that ends) Okay she back to markin territory... Dangit doggy get back in the house... Jeesh cold out here...So I swing my foot at her as she dartz back inside... (she got this grinn on her mugg) cause she knows I"m to slow.... with that foot... she dropps that butt on the tile and slides into the livin room where she dives under her blanky...Me I grab the broom and cane and go sweep the snow off the porch and steps and the front sidewalk... Now my backaches... big time...Doggy she warmy under her blanky....Guess that's enuff exercise for the day... gotta dry a load of clothes,,, take a breathin exercise...(blow air up my nose while i take a Nap )Hope my son brings my van back today... I don't like walkin in the snow cause I have too... just when I want to... do that make any sense...Aint life grand... always russ

It done snowed here too! I moved south ta get away from the cold, or at least the REALLY REAL cold. Up in the Northern parts of Michigan its been snowing for a few weeks already. But where I am now, we got our first snow last Thursday evening. Of course it had all melted away by noon Friday. YIPPY! That\'s what I love about life here. I get to see a bit of that pretty white stuff, usually not this early in the season, and the next day its all gone and life can go on without worry about winter driving hazards. Although, sometimes when I\'m sitting in the warmth of the living room, sipping my hot coffee, I think about my younger days and I kinda miss, trudging through the snow. Spending hours just to shovelin out enough snow soz the car has room to pull in off the road when the hubby gets home from work. Then I\'d come inside and put my wet gloves, hat, and socks on the wood stove to dry them while I warmed myself with a cup of hot coffee and a warm fuzzy blanket. Yep, them was the good ole days. Not the snow shoveling and the freezing weather, but the being capable of doing it without giving myself a heart attack.
