Where to go Next?!
I have decided to write my first journal entry just to get some things off my mind!!
A little background on us- Shawn (27) and I (25) have been been TTC since November 2011, so just at 2 years. We did 5-6 rounds of clomid, which were unsuccessful. In June of this year, we had an U/S and they found 2 fairly Large Cyst, so I had my first Lap! They found and diagnosed me with Stage 4 Endo..Doctor cleaned up everything thing, and said I am the cleanest now then I have ever been.
The Next Cycle we did just clomid, nothing, 2nd cycle we did Clomid + IUI, nothing, we took one month off because the internet freaked me out about what clomid does to Endo, and then had our 3 month follow up appointment where we discussed more options, and decided to do IUI+ injections and monitoring, more aggressive treatment. So this last cycle went in for our U/S and they found 6 smaller cysts have formed, and one was large enough to put a stop to treatment for the month. So Now we are on CD 20ish, and we should be going in for an U/S again this month when I start, to do the IUI + Injections as long as all cysts have disappeard... I don't know if this will work, if its worth a try, or if we should stop altogether...Insurance covers nothing, and Stage 4 seems almost impossible to get PG with IUI, but I also don't know if I am ready to say "i give up." I wish IVF wasn't so dang expensive or insurance was so hard to come by to help cover IF.
If any one has any insight on this procedure/options for us or just a little pick me up I would sincerely appreciate it :)
