Where To Begin
I truly don't know what to say, where to begin. I think offering my sincere regrets for not being around lately but to sum it up, like my rheumy's girl once said, I've been to hell & back in an apple cart.
I've no idea how Dec spun out of control so badly. I went to a celiac lunch on Dec 5th. Dec 6th is when my health took a nose dive. I went to the ER on the 9th to have the dr tell me that I had some form of Vertigo which could have resulted fr an underlying virus. Holy moly what an adventure. The dr gave me a prescription to control to dizziness which did help. He said as the virus goes away the vertigo shd also subside. Dec I could really not function at the best of times. Hubby's daughter came in & was at our place for abt 2 1/2 days. I did the best I could to be a hostess but I didn't have a lot to give anyone. But we made it!!
My lupus does not seem able to handle Decembers. This will be my 5th yr in a row where my system just falls apart at December. So frustrating!!
BUT I'm slowly starting to feel like I'm leaving the worst behind me. It's a new yr, Dec is behind me & it's time to start slowly moving forward.
I took the big step & advised the cat shelter that I will no longer be there. I was reasonably honest, advised them abt health matters for hubby & I having to be a focus. I poliitely also advised that there were emotional reasons they just did not fit into my life right now. It feels strange but I know in my heart & soul it's the right thing to do & I feel the Lord is getting ready to present other opportunities for me so I'm keeping my mind & heart open for whats to come.
Hubby's doing fairly well. His biggest issue is feeling like he's getting so useless but it is what it is & all we can do is tackle each day as best as possible. I've really started to see that he's a glass half empty person & I'm a glass half full.
Yoga starts again next wk & my body & soul are so so looking forward to it. TAking the other big step of getting back to the gym tomorrow a.m. Dec was a right off so this could be interesting but I promise to just try my best for me.
Anywho I think I'll sign off for now. Looking forward to getting caught up with everyone as of right now.
Love you all!

Ah good to hear from you Kitty, it\'s been too long and I\'m happy to hear that you\'re seeing the light at the end of the tunnel. December prolly isn\'t your favourite month. You\'re getting back into things you love and focusing on what\'s important so your 2016 is off to a good healthy start. All the best, friend...stay warm!

Dear precious Kitty,
No apologies necessary for not being here. Everyone here understands there are times when we need to take time out for life\'s bumps and challenges. But, it is nice to hear from you. I\'m sorry that December is such a bear for you! It\'s usually a rough one for me too. Remember, you are very special friend, so thanks for that. Lots of love and beautiful tomorrows to you,
P.T.
Hi Kitty! My daughter has lupus. What a bugger. She lives with me now, since my husband passed away. I feel so badly for her because fibro just got added to her lupus diagnosis. UGH! PAIN! I\'m so sorry that you have lupus. I know how debilitating it is. I\'m sure Decembers are hard. I know they\'re hard on my daughter. You both made it through.
Praying that 2016 will be a better year for all of us!!!
You\'re right! We have to take each day as it comes and do as the Lord leads! Happy New Year, Kitty! xo

I\'m sad to hear that you both have been through so much. I wonder what it is about December? The weather change? Xtra Christmas tasks? It is so odd. I will be praying for you both, as usual, with much love. I think you have made some very good decisions and I hope you get to a place of balance with everything. Please take good care of yourself and take things day by day. That\'s my goal too. : ) lots of love, m
