Where God was.
Sometimes I hear people ask where was God? when a loved one dies or a horrible accident occurs. I thought about this today. So I want to report, on March 15, the day my husband's aneurysm burst, God was with him and countless people I'll never know. You see, I just happen to have a day off work Monday when it happened, so I was home when my husband called saying he was sick. I was able to tell him to go to the emergency room. Now, normally, at that time of day, I would have been off shopping and wouldn't have checked my messages. I don't carry a cell phone so my husband would not have been able to call me. Had he called an hour later, I would have been on an appointment. If any of this had happened, my husband may have decided to drive himself home--all 28 miles--and the aneurysm would have burst on the very busy expressway.
So on the day my husband lost consciousness due to this horrible aneurysm, God was standing there with him, making sure he was safe and God was holding my hand and making sure I was there to answer the telephone so I could tell my husband to go to the emergency room. And God was with all those people who would have been on the expressway with my husband had none of the above happened.
On March 15, 2010 God saved the lives of so many people who may never know they were saved.
Thank you, Father.
