' Where Are We Heading ' ?
" I FIND THE GREAT THING IN THIS
WORLD IS NOT SO MUCH WHERE
WE STAND AS IN WHAT DIRECTION
WE ARE MOVING.
TO REACH THE PORT OF HEAVEN,
WE MUST SAIL SOMETIMES WITH
THE WIND AND SOMETIMES AGAINST
IT, BUT WE MUST SAIL, AND NOT
DRIFT, NOR LIE AT ANCHOR ". . .

Wise words from a very wise lady. life is not smooth ride but it can be a beautiful when God is the captain.

Numbness of PTSD is a comfort. Evidence cannot be refuted even as hard as I tried leaving the truth of reality to be embraced.
((hugs))
Love this journal, as well as Frieda\'s comments. Hugs!
Now that one I can agree with totally.
Got out of town on a boat for the southern islands
On a reach before a following sea
We were making for the trades on the outside
And the downhill run to Papeete
On this heading off the wind lie the Marquesas
We got eighty feet of waterline nicely making way
In a noisy bar in Avalon I tried to call you
But on the midnight watch I realized why twice you ran away
I love that. Drifting or setting up an anchor is not a good idea.
Love Angela
Hopefully I\'m moving in the right direction! Sometimes I feel as though I am anchored though, must remember to keep moving towards my goal.
Such beautiful wise words. I so enjoyed reading this. It really is so very important to focus on the direction we\'re heading in life.
