When will it end?

I split up with my now ex boyfriend several weeks ago, and although we were not together for a long period of time, he helped me through alot. My nan recently passed away and he was there for me throughout that which makes it that little more harder.
He was spending too much time with his friend, who is also his ex girlfriend. I have trust issues anyway, stemming from being cheated on in my previous relationships. I constantly accused him of cheating on me. 
We had a big row about this particular girl and he dumped me. We became civil again and tried to see how things went between us, yet it was me putting all the effort it, saying sorry for things when infact I had done nothing wrong.
We began seeing each other again, but then I found out he had took another girl from work on a day out, which I was not happy with, so we had another argument and that was it, we haven't spoken since. 
I miss him, and find myself thinking about him constantly. I know time will heel this, but it just seems like such a long road to travel at the moment.
