When to Rest, When to Have a Life
I woke after having a nightmare very early this morning. I don't have them often but when I do, they are a doozy. I had to take my youngest who is visiting from out of state to the dentist today. I always feel like I'm playing musical chairs where ever I go...or Goldilocks. Finding a comfortable chair is frustrating. I usually have to get up and pace for awhile to ease the pain in my lumbar and today was no exception. Added to the mix was the fact I drove and this still gives me chest and shoulder pain, not to mention the pain in the neck muscles around my surgical site and up and down my cervical spine. I am resting now but not sure if heat will be enough or if I'll have to give in and take my meds today. I dread the side-effects so much but if I have to to prevent a pain cycle, then I must.
