When the strong need strength, where do they go?

I've always been one of the strong ones in this family, I've had to be. I've never been able to go to my mum (and definitely not my dad) - my mum doesn't have the strength. Everyone always expects me to be strong - but now I need strength. I feel like I've given everything away... all that I have is gone. All the people who I thought were my friends haven't said anything to me since university, and we were close.
Nobody seems to want to talk to me on facebook, no friends take time out - I can't really trust my family, they get all disappointed whenever they get a sense that I'm human - and not perfect.
How can I cope when there's no one there to help? There's no-one I can trust, no-one I can turn to, not out in the world. I get better support on here, but there's no one at home, or elsewhere where I can cuddle up to a good friend, nobody who'll encourage, support me - am I really weak to want support, must a strong person only ever be strong - must I go on as a lighthouse keeper, with no-one to turn to?
:'(

We are human...it\'s those that have lost humanity that I am leery of. This life is set up in a very strange way, there are many rules and requirements that make it more difficult than it should be. People aren\'t weak to want support, people are made for people and we should be able to support each other. The emphasis of community and \'family\' has been lost to the individualism and way of society, but it doesn\'t have to be. It always takes more courage and is more painful/difficult to go against the grain of how things are set up, but it\'s those and finding others that will come together to make a significant change and have meaning and purpose. Gotta take risks and usually look outside of the box. Not in on who is there but see who you want to be there, can be there...what opportunities are there for the taking when you put yourself out there? It is not easy, at all, but it\'s better than staying in the same old rut...right?
