"...when people hoard so much cash that they impoverish the world..."
"If a man has an apartment stacked to the ceiling with newspapers, we call him crazy.
If a woman has a trailer house full of cats we call her nuts.
But when people pathologically hoard so much cash that they impoverish the entire nation, we put them on the cover of Forbes magazine and pretend that they are role models."

nuts.
lets see if i even know what i did this week. starting today and go backwards....animal care. confirmed adoption. returned call to mel, who was putting up her tree (her kids are five years old. it will be loud). saw people at church (i still think adr is ill, and i think she thinks so too. hope not though.) fed br's colony and cleaned up the cans in the back - so many. met woman for adoption with her mother and screened her mother. (her brother is a reality tv star, so i put it on to see some of it. i think his mother doesn't like that he is on tv, she looked stunned....or, the daughter could be just saying this? who knows. you have to doubt everything. "grains of salt". the daughter has a son and an indoor outdoor cat and says that her mother had her burmese for 18 years. cool. hope its true.
put up decorations (some) at the house up north. not into it this year and promised myself i'd do outdoor only (i get like that sometimes it seems garrish). but there they were. put up the smaller manger as well. put the lights and candy canes on the deck railing, but didn't plug them in yet. put a wreath on the door downstairs and have one on the door upstairs. put bell knockers in gold on one of the doors up north and garland on the sliders that look out back. we get deer there sometimes. (so different here than house(s) down south). can't imagine ever seeing a deer in miami or orlando....or even tampa. lol.
discovered more paperwork done wrong by the new guy. grrrr. told off the area supervisor who was bullying one of the guys who has four kids and took off for the holidays. the new jerk told him he has to work anyway. i think he LIKES bullying him because he knows he has four kids and needs the job and can't yell back. hmmmm. well i can. yay! lol. i really hate bullies of any sort, so this isn't the first time anyway. get into this later.
talked to rn who says two kittens are ill with conjunctivitis and scaly areas on the fur? returned more adoption calls and trying to get someone to go to lake county to save 3 cats on death row. no luck so far! grrrr. we would place them out for them, they need transport. started taking 40 mg of lovastatin, instead of 20, because my doctor flipped when he realized we get heart attacks (disease? is that disease?) in our fifties and sixties and it runs in our family. didn't mean to scare him. his daughter is getting married in two months he doesn't need any scares.
had dinner at k's. salmon, broccoli, cheddar potato, brownies, cold duck and bailey's with coffee. the cat with the injury over there we are treating properly. neosporin on the neck. boy is that a freak out, when i researched it it says its common. i never saw anything that bad before. we had one do that with a harness. both time i just cut it off and the animal is in shock, big pupils and let me. no more collars. rocco is still missing. his gray calico is missing and the orange one...two by him and one by me. its on antibiotics and i still think the eye surgery cat should have been on antibiotics as well. what happened with that? don't they do that?
did minimal shopping. christmas shouldn't be shopping but in usa it is. would like to make a cake, but no time right now. hopefull then it will feel like happy birthday jesus, like it should. went to the spa 3 times - i'm aiming for daily, its one of my favorite things, but not so yet.

the cats were saved by someone else and the third went to rescue. discovered this animal service is out by leesburg so waaaaay too far for us. the man who is the pound said they have a transporter via a cardiologist (where she works) who could transport. rather not if they have a group covering it. so a lot of crazy for nothing. but always interesting and to save a life.
the adopter from alaska who just moved here offered to go and i called her back and told her not to, its over 2 hours away. check this out they bought their land for 8500 sooooo cheap! and then got a new construction loan. their taxes this year are only 200. wow! i told her every person i\'ve met here from alaska wind up going back to alaska. the last frontier. its cheap in oregon too, my cousins live there now from california and before that florida. i would never have chosen florida for anything permanent if from alaska....though who knows, if you like an area enough, i think i\'d have chosen hawaii if i were her. lol.
I was here! I read! My brain is fried tonight and simply cannot type! BUT I WAS HERE!!!
Just so ya know!!
i feel like that today darla. i PAINTED the front of the house. so far, not too much pain, i went to the spa afterward, but i\'m exhausted. i was tired of waiting on a painter. some stuff a pro of some sort will have to do, but i decided painting isn\'t one of them, except where its too high to reach. good decision. will see what happens next.
