When not able to recover the wifi password

Some times we do not remember the username and password for router setup login as well. Because sometimes five years or more would has been passed when we setup or wifi router. SO we do no remember the username and password as well. On this situation, if we do not remember anything we just have to reset our wifi router or the Netgear wireless range extender and set it up all over again like we first bought it .
