when it rains it pours!
While working behind my house yesterday I stepped on a board that had some nails sticking out of it. Usually when I do teaqring down, I bend every nail I see to avoid any potential problems like that but I must have missed thows somehow but anyway got two big puncture wounds in my right foot. I was so busy at the time that the pain and blood didn't seem to bother that much but this morning I could barely get out of bed and had to walk with a cane because it was so painful putting weight on it and it swelled so much I could barely get my shoe on, :(
So no running or walking for me today. and maybe not tomorrow either. Taking it one day at a time.
With everything going on, I cried this morning and I never do that. Always one to hold in my feelings which may explain my high blood pressure. Taking two meds for that and dr still can't seem to get a handle on it.
Life is rough sometime. Hope it gets better soon.

I took the dog on a 2 mile walk limping part of the way with 2, six penny nail holes on the bottom of my right foot. I took 4 ibprofen before I went. I wanted to get the dog out of the house because wife and bf bitch about her. It hurt but it was a good hurt. I am going to soak my foot in epsom salts before bedtime.

Ouch! I\'m sorry to hear you hurt your foot. Be careful too...are you up to date on tetanus and such? Be careful if it is a rusty nail. I\'m sorry you\'re in so much pain. :(
And everyone needs a good cry now and again. You have to get your emotions out some time right?
thanks Nora and Spa. Tryin, I think it\'s been about 15 years since I\'ve had a tetnunis shot. It wasn\'t rusty though, they were galvanized nails but they were dirty though

Bob, yes soak it. Peroxide.. And antibiotic cream...that is a hard location to heal.. Keep it bandaged when in shoe and exposed when you are inside and not moving around.
Ouch! Don\'t put off medical attention if it does not get better in a couple of days! Tetanus shots are good for 10 years I think so you might be borderline there. Crying releases the stress and is a good therapy!
Life really piles things up sometimes. You were a hero taking your dog for a 2mile walk. Crying is good-I wish I could cry but think my meds stop that release.

I agree - tetanus shot is a good precaution to take.
