When I left home this morning for Bible study
Everything was fine with Mom but an hour later when I got home, she was sick. She said while sitting eating some peanuts she got violently dizzy and needed to up-chuck. She managed to get to the bathroom and she was there when I rang the door bell. I was pretty upset for a while not knowing what to do but things calmed down and I prayed!!! I got a text message to a CNA friend and she called. Mom was better by then. I got her some ginger ale then we shared a cheese sandwich a couple of hours later.
Things seem calm now and I hope they stay that way. I don't know if it was food poisoning or allergy reaction or what. I'm still a bit nervous and watching closely. She says its calm now. Thank GOD!

Asking her if she ever had peanut allergy should be question asked. I dunno beyond that! But people who know of peanut allergy dont come near peanuts at all even shells in the stadiums of baseball games can set them off. Maybe new allergy?
thank God you came home, and were a calming influence for mom when she was sick. I hope she\'s all better now, maybe just a passing tummy ache and happy she was able to eat a bit. Ginger ale and a sandwich is the best :)

Thanks for your kind thoughts. Mom is back to herself and she even cooked a good supper last night! I hadn\'t expected she would but it was almost like it hadn\'t happened that morning. Go figure!!!
Anyway I told my co-workers this morning and the other cashier said the same thing happened to her last week. She got horribly sick suddenly and it passed just as fast as it came. Now I\'m wondering if it is a virus. Hoping it is gone for good.
I had to work all day and everything seems fine. Mom is happy but taking it easy. That is fine with me, She has plans to clean the bathroom tomorrow. We shall see if the cleaner works. Last time it was just a futile effort cause the Kaboom didn\'t work.
