Oh Sandi. I think we may have been melting simultaneously. I had a great weekend, went on a long walk, went to a meeting in the afternoon (which was fun) - and then the panic and tears. I wish I knew why it happens. It just does.
Hang in.
Love and hugs, Marlene

Oh my Goodness! The same thing happend to me last night. My husband was cleaning out the garage and he had put Jarretts spare carseat in my car to take it to the dumpster and I LOST IT! I threw the boosterseat, I was yelling because it didn\'t protect him, then I just started to scream like I have never screamed before, I probabally scared my little boy with my meltdown but I couldn\'t help it, I felt like the wall of strength I had built up finally came crashing down on top of me. I hope you\'re meltdown helped you a little, I think mine did.

As crazy as it sounds...I too found \"help\" in my meltdowns. I think it\'s necessary to release all the pented up energy. Sometimes if we don\'t explode, we emplode. I\'m sorry you \"went there\", but hope you feel a release afterwards. I\'ve quit asking why about anything. The only answer I\'ve ever come up with is, \"it just is\", which is no answer at all, but all I\'ll get I suppose. Truthfully I don\'t think I need why to be answered anymore....hmmmm....

I guess yesterday was the day for meltdowns: I had to go to my best and oldest friend\'s husband\'s mem. service. Of course I had to go to be there for my friend, (she\'s been caretaking him for several years), but wasn\'t looking forward to it. So many things touched off my raw emotions.................hugs to you and all the others going through this, Margery Ann

Mine was on Sunday, they come and go like the weather, without my control. We are so much more than our conscious brains, so many \"little gray cells\" as Hercule Poiret puts it. The grief is with us and in our deepest selves and will well up when it chooses. We are never going to be rid of it, nor would we want to.

Meltdowns happen to me all of a sudden too. Other people don\'t understand, but I so TOTALLY DO!!! It shows our kids are always in our hearts whether we are consciously thinking about them or not. Your spirit will always soar with Ken\'s spirit, even if it is subconsciously! You have a very special heart!! Love and hugs, Amber

ANYTHING!!!! can cause a meltdown....even the word \"trigger\" does it for me....I do not use it. I had a spiral downward that I posted on my journal ...I started the day pretty good and then one little phone call did me in...spent the weekend in bed.....crying and crying....then on Monday...I began to get better. I just think it will be this way from now on.....I hope you are doing better as you read this....much love, dale...brandon\'s mom

Hi Sandi, i think its when we are tired, our body chemistry off or just plain missing our kids and here it comes. I agree with Dale. These moments are part of our life now. We just miss our kids. Love and peace, Linda
