My Opinion of Self-Esteem
Self Esteem!
It is just like money!
You are:
A.) Either born with it and have it, or
B.) You work/spend/exhaust your entire life trying to attain it, using all resources, professionals, medicines,--everything…yet something, someone, and/or some circumstances happens which always take away from it! And this will occur “while” you are trying to build it, not when you “attain” it! Again, just like money!
Think about it…it is true!

Yeh I guess it is true. You can apparently learn to attain both.
Money can be taken away...self esteem can only be given away :) Just remember the wise words of Booger...sometimes you just have to say \"What the f**k!\"

Sorry .......as I was saying I have always felt uncomfortable around people but there is a good reason for it that I don\'t like to talk about ......I like my self I always have so that isn\'t the problem .....but I have been this way all my life and still have problems with it ......I had good loving parents ....so I think it is a part of my make up .....and just something I can\'t let get the better of me ....I don\'t think at this point it is something I will get over just have to work with ....I think if I didn\'t like my self that would be a bigger problem ......
Ok, gotta agree with scg. You need another slap up side the head???? What others say and think should not matter!! You should be proud of yourself!!!! What other\'s say..........well, that\'s their problem, NOT yours.

I WAS FINE UNTIL THE FIRST GRADE WHEN KIDS MADE FUN OF MY FIRST NAME. IT IS SO AWFUL I CAN\'T TELL YOU. ALL THROUGH MY SCHOOL YEARS IT GOT WORSE, I HATED MYSELF, UNTIL JUST A FEW YEARS AGO, BECAUSE OF THE HATE, I WAS A VERY JELIOUS SOUL. MOTHER NEVER UNDERSTOOD WHY I WANTED TO GO BY MY MIDDLE NAME, MARIE, FINALLY AT 19 I STARTED USING MARIE, BUT I STILL FELT UGLY WITH A VERY LOW ESTEEM. MY SISTERS DON\'T EVEN KNOW WHY MY MOTHER WOULD NAME ANYONE WHAT SHE NAMED ME. IT SCARED ME FOR LIFE.
