What was I thinking?
After reading some divorce post:
So when I decided to divorce I was still in love with my ex. I did not recognize it, but I still had love for him. So like some people who think that the relationship wouldnt change, I thought the same thing.
So I put together a divorce they gave my ex 50% access to the children. That was admirable, but not in the best interest of the children or myself. I want the best for my children. I want them to participate in different activities and in a good school system. I did not think that if my ex remarried that his whole "get up" would change... It did. Of course not in my favor. And not completely in the best interest of his children. So I recommend that when you are putting together your case, really think about the worst-case scenario and what should be in place.

Yes you are right and there's enough unpredictability about life without the guessing game with an ex and the kids in the middle.
