What to do???
Ok, where do I start... last cycle when I was supposed to be ovulating on CD 13 I started bleeding. I called the RE and told them what was going on. They said some woman bleed (spot) during ovulation. I told them I was not spotting but full on bleeding. I went in the next day for an US and sure enough I started my period. My lining was non-existent and had fully shed itself. I have no idea why and the doctor didn't know either. The fertility nurses keep telling me that they want me to go back on fertility meds but I just don't know. After the first MC in January I started ovulating again on my own. Although that is good I still have problems with my lining and my progesterone due to Luteal Phase Defect. I could go back on Clomid but I would have to do IUI because this drug kills my CM or I could try Femara. Clomid is supposed to produce multiple eggs which gives you a better chance of conceiving but then we have to do IUI and my insurance does not cover it. After the whole cycle is done it's a little over a thousand dollars. I cant just shell out a grand every month. Or we could do Femara but the nurse said this drug usually just produces one egg. I am not quite sure what to do. We are on our own this month as our insurance is ending July 1st due to my husband changing jobs. We will get insurance again July 22nd. I really hope they cover fertility. I know they don't cover fertility meds. Has anybody out there been on Femara and how many eggs did you get?? They said I would be on 2.5mg #10. I also bought pre seed and was wondering how that would work with Clomid and the hostile CM. I would appreciate any help I can get.

I am so sorry for all you have been through. I hope your new insurance covers more for you! I don\'t know if you have looked into any natural supports, but I was reading today about soy (soy isoflavin) supporting ovulation. I think preseed is supposed to be really good to use too. Good luck!
Ive tried pre-seed and does its job :). If you have responded to clomid in the past, I would stick with it and use pre-seed. I havent heard anyone say what the nurse did about clomid creating multiple eggs and femara only one. That was kind of weird. But IDK. I hope your new insurance is better! Anyway that is what I would do...hang in there friend.
Femara does produce less eggs that when on clomid but it doesn\'t cause the CM and lining problems that Clomid does. I took clomid last month and got 4 eggs but my lining was only a 2 so we couldn\'t do an IUI. This month we did Femara and still had 4 eggs but the lining is an 8. I have never used pre-seed so I don\'t know about that but I will also recommend because it was recommended to me last month red raspberry leaf tea. Drink 2 cups a day to help increase lining. Make sure raspberry leaf tea not raspberry tea. Good Luck sweety. XO :)
