What the what

You leave for two months and then all of a sudden everything changes. It's gonna take me some time to get used to the new DS. As a person who does not like change this is going to be a challenge in itself lol.

Onto important developments, I thought this summer was going to suck, but it hasn't been bad at all. I have an A in my math class and it's looking like I will get a B in Biology which if you remember I failed at TAMU. I have made some pretty cool friends in my Biology class as well. I am still a little afraid of retaking Business Calculus next semester, but I don't think it will be nearly as bad at it was at TAMU and I've seen it all so I have faith I will kick its butt. On the weekends when I don't have school I returned back to my job from last summer and all my friends and coworkers were so surprised at how much weight I have lost. It made me feel really good.  I really did miss them and it makes me wish I ha decided to go to school here. Actually, this entire summer has made me wish I gone to school here or perhaps transferring here. I know I would benefit much more from being at TAMU, but honestly like my counselor last semester said it is up to me and I have to do what is best for me and if I can get into UTSA I know my scholarship will transfer there so I won't have to worry about that. The only difference is is that my degree won't be a B.S. it will be a B.A. and that can mean a big difference on a job application. I am going to give TAMU another semester, because I have to in order to raise my GPA to what would be accepted at UTSA, and during that time I am seriously going to think about transferring and what I think would be the best for me. I just know I am not happy when I am at TAMU and I won't want my last two years on college to be miserable. Being at home and taking classes here, whether they be easier or because just of where I am, has made me realise maybe I am not cut out for TAMU. Which is something I am completely okay with. I firmly believe my mental health affects my grades and I can't thrive where I don't want to be. That being said I will make more of an effort to actually enjoy TAMU for however long I may be there, and I am currently looking into a more long term therapist or psychologist there who I can see regularly.

Great job, Megan! I agree that your mental health is the most important. Plus, if you're happier, you will automatically get better grades. While it's true that a BS carries slightly more weight than a BA, you can make that difference up with internships and other real-world experience. It's wonderful to hear that you're doing well! I had a lot of problems my junior and senior years of college so I ended up with a BA instead of a BS. Not only that, I failed the last class I needed for my degree. I moved here to Miami, took the class (physics) here and got a B! You can do it!
