AAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG!!!!!! Okay now that, that's out. I'm so frustrated right now. I got yelled at today because I was hanging out with friends on our stairwell last night. One of my neighbors is moving in less than a week and I wanted to hang out with her. But everytime I want to hang out with someone I get the guilt trip of "you never want to hang out with me, you're always outside talking to someone else" which is a bunch of bull shit. Since most of the time I sit in our little apartment with him and watch TV. When ever I go and hang out with someone other than him I get all sorts of guilt trips, but he can go hang out with whomever, when ever!! So I tell him today, I guess I just shouldn't have any friends then (I know a bit childish, but I'm pissed for getting yelled at). And he goes "I never said you couldn't have any friends" and continues to get pissed at me. WHATEVER!!! If I can have friends when the hell am I supposed to hang out with them? They all work during the day, just like him. And it's not like I'm hanging out with them all the time. It's maybe once every couple of weeks. I swear that he doesn't even care about anyone other than himself!! And I thought we were doing so well. I so want to ask him if he even wants me to have friends, but that's going to start another fight, that I'm just not in the mood to deal with. AAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG!!!!!

Sorry to hear this. You have as much rights as him to hang with friends. Now granted each person in a relationship has to make sure that what they are doing does not \"actually\" take away from the time spent with their loved one. By that I mean if a couple have say a Wednesday \"date night\" and one of them blows it off to hang with friends, that would be wrong but if all that was going to be going on was him watching TV and you sitting there then what is the harm. No one wants an argument but he needs to explain how you can have friends and get with them but not interfere with \"his\" time. It sounds a little like his meds are not working properly because this is some of what I have seen and read about as part of the \"manic\" side.
