What\'s wrong with us?
A friend that attends my knitting group noted that we have been members of our church now for over 18 years but we really don't have any close friends. No one we can call on in times of need or distress other than our pastor. We just don't fit in to the cliques. Oh well You think I would be use to it by now but the loneliness doesn't get any easier,

Big Hugs and YOU are not ALONE.......xxxx
I really feel for you... I know how bad the feeling of isolation and loneliness can become when your health issues make having a \"normal\" life not possible... and it is so hard when you feel you \"don\'t fit in\". These are the same sort of issues that I am trying to deal with, so in that sense you most certainly are not alone... I am here if you need to reach out for support. I have been away most of the last 10 days, so I am just trying to get caught up with my friends journals now.
Sending gentle hugs and warm smiles for you... take care... xxx
Thank you so much for the note of support. I was mulling things over a little today and realized that in a way I got what I asked for when I told God several years ago I thought I could deal with anything so long as He didn\'t take my hands or sight so I could still knit. I just wish He had left me with enough strength and endurance that I could at least still babysit.
