What's in your pocket

My dear Gary didn't know what a closet was for, all of his jackets ended up on his desk chair. I guess it saved on buying a cushion for that chair anyway. :) Shortly after his death I picked up one of his jackets and put it on. It still smelled like he did and I buried by nose in a sleeve breathing in the essence of my husband. I then put my hands in the pockets only to discover some things that spoke so strongly of who my husband is (was).
 
A Hershey candy bar wrapper - life is great, but there is ALWAYS room for chocolate
ATM receipts (multiple, time stamped within seconds of each other) all marked with invalid pin code - it's not about the bank account
An easy out (tool) with a broken pipe fitting still connected to it - work is good, good for the character, good to develop a sense of worth, work with a smile on your face
The last item was unidentifiable by shape or size, maybe just a piece of paper - the last item was a Valentine's Day card from a life skills student that Gary worked with. Lesson learned, find good in everyone, learn something from everyone.
 
I now wonder what the items I carry in my pocket would say about who I am.
