What is a smart goal?
How I look at Objectives?
For me goals are a series of tasks that end in a goal being achieved. In order to keep up to date with what my jobs and goals are, I have two independent notepads that each are in. For illustration, I might want to increase business X by 10% Revenue. The goal is the end bottom line - “Increase Business X by 10% Revenue” I next write down the tasks needed to achieve this objective. Again, these kinds of tasks go directly into the task note pad. For me, if I simply authored down the goals I merely wouldn’t have the map to achieve these. That’s why I again up the goal with tasks to achieve it.

Individual GOALS AND Duties - THE Jobs HELP ACHIEVE THE Objective
Personal Goals and Career Targets
I always try out and separate targets into a couple of sections - Personal Goals and Career Objectives. This helps me prevent certain goals and understand which group they fall under. Its straightforward to what falls in both of the above groups - Personal Goals could be to spend more time with your family etc etc.

Responsible
I try whenever possible to be responsible for my targets. If I don’t achieve a goal by a certain schedule it makes me really feel incredibly disappointed. I’m constantly trying to make sure that I don’t get in which feeling. Now this may not be the best way to make your self accountable to your targets however it works for me.
