What is a Life Crisis and How to Deal with It?
The bloom of every being, the epochal point of development under every universal and natural law, is in the midst of the rise and fall, between youth and old age. We, counselling centre Muskoka can observe this regularity from the most subtle manifestation of life in nature to the development of every civilization.
Is not it strange that this stage of human life is called a crisis? Is not it strange that the culmination of living is connected with confusion and chaos, not with balanced clear consciousness?
There are many events and circumstances that lead to instability in the psyche and behavior, but the main factor determining this crisis period is due to the numerous compromises that have been lost in every sphere of life completely dissuading the natural flow of being.

What is it a compromise? Let's go every day from eight to five of our mournful work. Let's go home every day, overwhelmed with boredom and bitterness. Let us try to justify the unquenchable expectations of others.
Say "Yes" when we long to shout "No". To lose our own identity, entering into the role of a parent identifying herself. Staying in a non-harmonious marriage or relationship because we have children, we are afraid of loneliness or have a fixed idea of a perfect family.
This can go to infinity, but if you look at your own life, you will find them yourself.
Often, unwilling to acknowledge our own compromise and cowardice, hidden behind the mask of pseudo-tolerance, giving us the illusory sense of "ideal" entry into the social order, we trample all our genuine longings and aspirations. By replacing them with the rules of a comfortable society, which tacitly predetermined right and wrong, good and evil, possible and impossible, leading only to a gap and suffering.
Rebellion of the Soul
Regardless of whether the resulting shortage has a spiritual, professional, personal, or other nature, it becomes more and more profound, tangible and repressive in the years to transform our existence. When we abandon our lives to a recessive pause of simulative change, stagnation overrides the rise.
Anxiety and frustration are relentlessly accepted as natural. Entering into the justifiable zone of compromise, we accept the "naturalness" of the normalized crisis, in which, by some unwritten, distorted lawmaking, depression, insomnia, nervous tension, ultimate mental and emotional discomfort are OK.
Every crisis is the signal lamp that we have taken the wrong course in the ocean of life that will take us to the underwater rocks of the deficit, not to the fruitful lands of abundance. The solution to every problem always lies in each of us. The disharmonic states in which we have realized or have not entered, are the opportunity to reflect ourselves, our personal needs, and the change that our life is desperately needed.
The crisis can be the turning point that leads us to new horizons, revealing a better reality in which we live ourselves without trying to be ourselves. Only the relentless intention of not giving up status quo, routine and fears will transform our days completely and irreversibly.
