But one day he came running into the house and ran around the lounge room yelping and whining - a cicada that didn't want to get eaten had fiercely sunk its grippers into his nose and wouldn't let go. I couldn't help laughing which hurt Norman's feelings even more. I had to gently prise the cicada's feet off Norman's nose so that neither of them suffered anymore damage. It took quite a while cos the cicada was hanging on realkyvhard. But that cicada must have been seriously pissed off cos it then sank its grippers into my fingers, and damn did it hurt. It hurt so bad that i ended up walking round the lounge room yelping and whining. I had to be rescued by Barbara, the woman whose plate the 3 dogs are trying to hypnotise the food off of. She was more careful than I was, and we let the cicada go in the safety of a nearby tree
