What I am doing now
Hi,
I just found this great site. Sooo glad. I am at work. My boss is out of town. As they say, when the cat is away you play. Not sure how to really get started. I have found a few meetings in town. One follows the CODA book and ther other is the 12-step program. Not sure which one to start with.
Not sure how to set my goal. All I know is that it is time to get my life back in order. Cannot believe it has taken this long to figure all this out.

I found this site today, and am so glad. I almost said something about not knowing where to start- then I realized that recognizing the problem and reaching out IS starting. :) One step at a time...
Well I guess because I am beginning to work on my co-dependency, the home front has definitely changed. I suspect when I get home my spouse will tell me he is ready to split. For some reason, this time I don\'t feel devastated.
Have not been here for awhile. Joined a new support group today. I now see one of my problems; not being able to reach out for support. I guess that is why I have not been on for a long time. Working the steps; one day at a time.
Came back for a visit. I joined another support group, Alcoholism. As long as it took to realize, TODAY, is the first, great new day of the rest of my life.
