What Happened Next

Well, no one could have told me what was to happen next.  I moved to Redcliffe and was feeling like shit.  I was so depressed and I had no life, no friends, just work to keep me occupied part of the time.  One day I wandered into the Redcliffe Arts society where I found a group of mentally ill people making mosaics.  I sat down next to a groovy looking guy and I spent the next couple of hours talking to him.  We swapped numbers and then he asked me out on a date.  Soon we were together and I was thrilled.  I finally felt normal again and loved and accepted.  It wasnt an easy relationship because he had severe anxiety and so he found it very difficult to make decisions, have conversations, go out where there were other people etc.  But I thought I could help him and I knew he was helping me. It lasted about 10 weeks.  I ended it yesterday because I didnt feel a connection and because it had become difficult for me to keep my spirits up while trying to help and support him when he was always down.  I feel like such a bitch because I have broken his heart and I never wanted to hurt him.  I hope he will forgive me and that we can be friends.

He will forgive you. Both my serious ex\'s had mental illnesses (diagnosed after we were together) and they were the ones that understood. It was the two wankers I dated in 2009 with \"no issues\" that fucked me up :P

That Art thing sounds wicked though...I may just hunt it down. :)

btw...you did the right thing. And he knows that. There is nothing more devistating that finding out someone is with you that doesnt want to be.
