What happened!
In the night I started to get little contractions and thought my waters had started to break I went to see my midwife and got told that she could'nt examine me there cause i had had the anoticband she wanted me to got to the hospital. So I rang my boyfriend and we drove straight down to the hossy. When I got there the strapped me to a macheine to moniter mine, the babies heart beat and contractions. while I was on it the babys heart beat reduced to 80 and because the doc was worried he asked for me to stay in over night and induce me. I agreed cause i wanted to see my little girl quicker. That night a nurse put a object that looked like a shoe lace covered with a gell inside my vagina. Around 10pm i was in pain and pacing the hospital. when i went to the toilet the stringy thing fell out and when i told the nurse she told me to put it back in my self which didnt work cause my belly bump was in the way and i couldnt get it up far enough. The next morning i felt like crap cause i had had no sleep for 2days and was in a large amount of pain my boyfriend came in to see me for the day and so did my mother. I couldnt get off the bed cause the pain was soooo bad and was swaring at bf cause he kept lookin at me when i was contracting i called for a nurse and a hour later she arrived and said i was 5cm dilated i got given gas and air and wheeled to award to get ready to give birth. The pain was sooo bad all in my thighs belly and around my back they gave me a epidural and cause i was not dialating quick enough they were going to send me for a C section which i refused wanting to have my baby naturally once my drugs had worn off and i was told to push the c section sounded alot better i was being sick and frightened thinking i was going to die from all the pain and refusing to push the midwife brought in a doc who put my legs in stirups and helped me to get the baby out After about 4 pushes Isabelle-Starr was born at 401am 7lb 6 a mop of blonde hair and a wrinkled body. The cord was wrapped around her body and neck which i think was why her heart beat was going down. She was well worth the pain and i look at her everyday and get a warm feeling inside i have to be carfull cause i just want to squeeze her. Knowing what i know now about the whole labour thing i think it will be aong time b4 i forget the pain and want another!!!
