What Fresh Hell is This?

Well, I went to my PCP yesterday and he did a culture on my 'blister'. i now have a staph infection in it -- yay me!  Nope, I'm not going to feel sorry for myself,  even though my whole apartment is basically a biohazardous wasteland, even though this prohibits me from seeing my grandchildren or my daughter who has a sinus infection and fever.  I REALLY HATE THIS!  But, by the same token, we have caught it before it could get bad enough to lose more of my leg, so I am very grateful.  Thank you God.  The last time I had a staph infection I wound up in a nursing home with two other very nasty infections to go with it (a nice little cocktail indeed).  And, would you believe that I'm not a diabetic?  It's true folks and you heard it here first!  Have a happy weekend.
