What dreams may come

My titles to my journal entries often impress me. They should. I "borrow" the best of them freely from the world of entertainment and literature (which is often entertaining as well). My entries themselves, however, are all my own and I even sometimes get them to match up with the title. Today is one of those days. For the second time this year I dreamed of having an asthma attack and woke up in the midst of one. It wasn't a bad one but it can be a bit disorienting to wake up coughing and gasping. This feeling is compounded by the CPAP mask. I had to resist the urge to throw it across the room in my state of confusion and panic. Fortunately reason returned to me quickly and I removed the mask in the acceptable manner and got up and used my nebulizer. Now I am back to my normal self ,however normal that may be. It's good that my heart is in good shape because waking up like that is a real heart pounding experience.  I'm going to have to try to focus on dreaming about boring things. Like watching paint dry..nahh, that wouldn't work. I'd probably dream of having a reaction to the paint fumes.  Oh well, maybe I'll sleep on it. Of course my nebulizer will now be on my nightstand...because...  who knows ..."What dreams may come"? Be well,Tom
