what does it mean

You know that Chad guy I have been talking to you guys about...
well if not we are kind of dating but I'm not so sure anymore because last night he came over and i asked him "what do you want to do about us?" he didnt really know what i meant so i asked if we were dating, or if he wanted to be with me. and me and him are obviously physically attracted together and everytime he sees me hes always up on me and kissing me and crap. well he said "i dont want to move too fast" umm helloooo? we have been hanging out for 2 weeks and me and him have been pretty touchy feely without me going into great detail i think you can figure it out.
so can someone tell me what that means? he said he doesnt want to rush anything, but we are extremely physical, and he said he just wants to see how it goes because he doesnt want me to be like his ex and go psycho on him and shit. first he shouldnt even compare me to her but i trusted him and i dont see why i should now.
Does he just want that one thing or do you think maybe i have a chance? he said he likes me, he thinks im pretty but there are a lot of pretty girls. i want to connect with him emotionally. maybe its not worth it. he said i just got to talk to him and ask him how is day was and show him i care. but why do i have to be the only one making an effort? its pissing me off someone please give me some advice
