What in the world did they do to the website? Why did they change it. It was very simple to use before. Now it's more complicated. Why can't the damn programmers leave things alone! I am so mad right now.

Totally agree! I just posted what was supposed to be a private complaint about the new design. I thought it would go only to members of my group, but because I was set to "DS Members," it went out as a post to everyone on DS!! It used to be that you could post only to members of your group, and you didn't have to be friends with all of them. Now that option is gone. I have no idea who is able to see my posts, or if I'm able to see posts from everyone seeking support. I wonder if these programmers actually understand the purpose of DS, or at least what we thought was its purpose -- to give and get support from people who have bravely come together to share their private stories? The current format is super confusing, and feels like an invasion of privacy.
exactly. I am having problems signing in. I reset my password yesterday. Had my computer save the password. Today I try to get into the website and again it said my ID and/or password were invalid. How can they be invalid. Those programmers have a LOT of work to do. I also do not like the idea of having my comments broadcast to people I might not want to see it.
well after two pass words to even get here, you are not alone this is not just patience for set up with changes to transfer our info. this is not good. period. horrible... lay out.... more scrolling, clicking, why change what worked. there were oodles of complaints to sample site.....not to change.... i did check it out...lot of red flags...but wait and see approach if as bad as i thought...and it is!!!!!! been checking this out now for over hour. wow..... what did they do..... not good. Saw remark from DS person for us to have patience.... making changes?????? there is nothing the same. This happened with AARP many yrs ago. we all had such good groups.... fun...... happy...... many friendships. BUT THEN..... some tech savy (??) persons, decided to MAKE CHANGES. well many of us left and so grateful to those who started out own group.... WHICH then was messed up by some folks also tech savy.... for up grades and changes. again group left. is this the end to this????? shame....
Hi Linda, i too, am hoping things will be ok, and that team ds can fix the site issues. i also loved the old ds and still getting use too the new site. i'm here for you, anytime you need to talk :) wishing you much peacefulness, and you will always have my support, and encouragement :) Big caring hugs :)
