What a White Windy Day!!!
Ugh... Anyone who lives in an area where it snows is feeling the same thing... WE ARE SICK AND TIRED OF IT!!! Really, the crazy thing here in Ohio is that it has snowed the entire day which followed a night of Thunder Snow (oh, e, oh, e, oh--like jungle love) and Lighning with Schnauzers getting as close as possible to their humans (poor little PaPoo! Sparky was a bit more brave. As it was, PaPoo was under the blankies beside her MumTheBum shaking). It is still snowing, and it's already comes up to my knees. Yes, knees so that about 2 feet give or take an inch or two (some of that is probably blowing and drifting, but plaeeezzzeee). Well, we certainly did not do our walking, and what we did do what more like hopping... I've managed to get the dogz out a bit, and Guy feed the outside boyz. Me, I did what any homebound womyn would do: I baked! Peanut Butter Oatmeal cookies, and a loaf of cheater bread to go with leftover Potato Soup from last night--even better the second day! Well, our governor of Ohio, Ted Strickland, has just recommended we all stay home, pop some popcorn, and watch a movie. Sounds like an excellent plan to me! As it is, we are all nice and safe and warm and dry thanks to my mountain man who has keep the fire going all day (except for the short period of time that I ignored the fire as I always do, and it went almost completely out... I can't help it; I'm a girl about such things. Never fear, Jim Dad to the rescue...LOL). That's all I have to report at this time. Oh, except I confess, I never did do any of the mounding launtree that is piling high in the bedroom closet. Maybe the good launtree fairies will come and do it for me in the middle of the night! LOL Be safe, all!

I hope the fairies are of some help, and that the snow goes soon! I am SO glad to live somewhere where there isn\'t a lot of snow.
Damn, I will never get there in the RV next week to pick you up in all that snow!

I agree, pop the pop corn and watch a movie. I wish my area of PA had gotten some snow this winter...but everytime you got snow, we got flooding rain. Go figure. The power keeps flickering because of the strong winds. This may be the last you hear from me tonight.
I\'m not sure where in Cow Country you are, but over here near Cleveland it is STILL snowing! We measured about 2pm and we had 25 inches!! Way past my knees! To make it even better, our snowblower stopped working - damn sparkplugs!! Popcorn, wine and a movie was my plan for tonight. Stay safe and warm!!
If you get those fairies to stop at your house tell them I have a bone to pick with them for NEVER stopping here! LOL
We\'ve got a ton of snow too. It\'s pretty to look at but after awhile it gets boring. My little puppy disappears - the snow is taller than he is!! LOL

spring forward tonight and spring in two weeks.... supposedly, but its not guaranteed now is it.we got a blast yesterday, and today but i think we\'re done and spring is surely going to start springing any moment lol

Oh man, so I think that I gave you all our snow. ALL THE SNOWING COMING FROM NEW ENGLAND TO OHIO!!!!! EVERY ONE WATCH OUT!!!!!!!!!
Ok, so now that WE gave YOU the snow, we are oficially under flood watch. yes, you heard me, flood watch. Isn\'t that wonderful. I need to go get some water shoes.
A week ago we could go sking in our back yard, now we can go water sking, it\'s that bad. If the water raises more, it will flood our basement. So my dad said to be under close watch. But I wonder what I\'m suppose to do once it does start flooding. Lol. Never got instructions on that:)
LOL my daughter is one of those fairies. i walk into a room to do laundry or dishes and they are already done. she\'s awesome!!!

I\'m so glad you posted about forgetting to put a log on the fire.....it reminded me to put some in. giggles. Yea the snow was something else let me tell you. My girlfriend called to check on us and said that she was using her poodle as a snow measuring guage. giggles!! She is so BAD!! Now Sarge just loved it!! Snow puppy angels everywhere plus snow baths!! His favorite time of year although he found out today that he played to hard, for his hip is sore and he is limping. Thinks he is still two years old!! giggles. I made some homemade pizzas Saturday the made BBQ pork loin for Sunday lunch/supper.
I get such a giggle out of the weather people and state people telling all of us to stay off the roads. Are there that many idiots out there....must be. Oh well we are dug out and ready for the flooding now! Boy CJ will we ever get to plant flowers? Hope all is well today and some of that snow has melted. Love Ya
