What a lovely day .....

Yup, I took the dog out, my happy-go-lucky Staffie called Pansy. Off she trotted, tail up and eager to look and smell everything. Life is good for Pansy and this made me smile. As we walked through the village where I live ( I live in the pretty Norfolk Broads in England with the thatched roofs and "chocolate box" cottages) I realised how delightful everything is. Whilst every one was recovering from their hang overs -happy new year, all - I was feeling fairly angelic with my new found health and targets. I've been getting hung over texts and messages through Facebook and I'm smiling -simply because I feel good and fairly positive about my life and the situation that I'm in. So I've had to make some alterations to my diet - it was pretty good before but I've further improved it. I've given up the dreaded weed. Well, that made sense anyway. Bloody antisocial addiction, that one. And so what if I have to take a few tablets? Big deal. There are a damn sight more people in worse positions than me. Just think. I'm going to be healthier, happier, fitter, calmer and generally nicer to be around. Can't be bad, can it? Added to this, I have found this wonderful site where perhaps, I can help others.
Ive always believed in Karma - now I'm certain. I've found a new direction. I'm excited at the prospect of this new challenge. And as I type this, I have a smile on my face.....

Update - I've just realised that I've stopped coughing. Well, how great is that?.
