What a difference a day or two makes....
Feeling better about things here on the home front. I went to our parent support group and found it to be helpful. My husband wasn't there because he took T to his AA meeting on our side of town. T got a pass to do so. Unfortunately, it's a total of over 2 1/2 hours of driving, back and forth for one 1 1/2 hour meeting. My husband didn't get back until 11PM. A bit tired. So I went to our support group alone and share with them our struggles. Husband did tell them a bit himself so I don't feel like I was betraying him by sharing. Others went through the same thing and suggested counseling. I told them that I've been trying but to no avail. Fortunately, our son's case worker said that instead of T going to intense outpatient treatment after being released that maybe we can have a family counselor come to our house twice a week to work with us. It's something he's going to bring up at our exit meeting from the facility next week. So that might work. I like that idea. Haven't shared it with my husband yet.
