What a day today has been!
My day started out pretty well. My husband and I got a lot of things accomplished before he had to leave for work, and I love knocking thing off our To-Do Lists. We didn't manage to get in any exercise, but that is mostly my fault. It slipped my mind, as it normally does on a busy morning. It's not an excuse, it's just a fact. I need to figure out how to get myself out of bed just a little earlier and head down to the racquetball courts with my love for a good game to start the day.
Anywho, it was a pretty good day. After he went to work, I took a nap because I was facing what could be a very long phone call with my enrollment advisor later this evening. I needed to get my energy back up to face that call, as I get really nervous on the phone.
I basically wasted the past three hours waiting on a call that never came. My advisor has not even sent me an email as to why he missed the appointment HE scheduled. I understand that things come up, but he could have passed me off to a colleague, or even sent a short email stating that something happened and he wouldn't be able to keep our appointment.
At this point, I am feeling very upset and getting pretty down on myself, even though I know it isn't my fault he blew me off. This is what I do. I am extremely self destructive in nature. I try not to be, but it happens anyway.
I feel a bit better getting it off my chest. I have tried keeping an old fashioned journal, but I can't seem to stick to it. I guess because this is more convienent and I type much faster than I can write. Who knows?
I am hoping for a good rest of my night though, because I will be stuck at home all day tomorrow because my husband is working an extra long day. But, it gives me a chance to finish up one of my To-Do Lists and get things in order. Maybe I will even hear from my enrollment advisor(yeah, right.)
