Don\'t be so hard on yourself. It\'s not easy to lose after the baby. Set realistic goals and expectations. You are beautiful no matter what. Whew, can I borrow you for a weekend to do all that stuff around here? I need that kind of motivation. Glad your weekend was good!
I have always wanted to see the movie that you rented - it looks absolutely hilareous! Maybe Joe and I will rent it this weekend (he has his boys - so that may be a movie every one will want to watch). Hard to say with kids though.
I have a feeling that you are redirecting your anger with eating - which many people do (I know I do that from time to time). I always struggle with gaining weight - not a big amount - but enough to make me realize that I better stop my eating nonsense (normally I get that feeling when it gets more difficult to get into my jeans - what an awful feeling). So - I understand the feeling of not feelng all that good (or sexy) when you feel you are carrying too much weight. What I have to do to lose those pounds (and it is not as fun as a bag of Doritos - don\'t get my wrong) - I start cutting my carb intake. I half the amount of bread, pasta, rice, etc.. I consume. The the half carbs I do eat - I make sure it is whole grain carbs. I also cut the sugar (which for me is hard - as I have the worst sweet tooth) and stop eating at restaurants (if I do go - I limit my portions to half of what is on my plate). One trick a frend told me about, he is a marathon runner, is to have 1/2 cup of fiber cereal (with no sugar added or in the ingredients) with low fat/fat free milk. He told me to drink plenty of water afterwards and it fills up your stomach - so you really are too full to eat anything else. That has always been my ace in the hole - if I want to lose weight. For me - I do feel bloated when I eat the cereal (which I guess is that full feeling so you do not want to eat) - but the next day the bloat is gone.
Your bigget ally in losing weight (I am sure you have heard this) reamin positive and don\'t do what I do - which is beat myself up when I have a day where I over ate. Just start over again - and you will see the progress.
Sounds like your weekend was nice and you got quite a bit done. I cannot even remember what I did over the weekend - sad isn\'t it? I am already losing my mind!
Take Care - I love reading what is going on with you.
