What A Day
Today, was a glorious Day at my little country Church. We had 6 baptisms today ranging from 8 years old to 72 years old. We had a 78 year old man come forward and asked to rededicate his life to Christ, to receive the assurance of his salvation.
This evening, I got a call and was asked by a couple of they could come ask me a few questions, which I welcomed. They came and asked me if I would marry them this coming Sept. 18th. I said I would. As we talked, I had a feeling that the man wasn't saved. I knew his fiance had told me that she was. So, I asked him straight out and he said basically no, he was not saved. I talked to him, explained salvation to him and he started to cry and I led him to the Lord.
This was the glorious ending to a wonderful day already. Jesus is real and He is still in the saving business. I am just a vessel he uses to reach others for Him. My goal is for souls. I am blessed to know that God uses me like He does and all the honor and praise go to my Saviour and Lord Jesus.

What more could could a person want in their life, than a day like that.I know that there is nothing better for them to rejoice and to do good in one\'s lifetime. It is the gift of GOD.
Marriage is hard enough but when you are not \"equally yoked\" through Jesus then it becomes very difficult, I would imagine. My pastor back when Mike and I were dating and became engaged, would not marry us until Mike became baptized. Mike knew the Lord through SS as a youth but had not received Him into his life. Your wisdom has helped this couple even though they may not be aware of its full impact yet....and of course, the young man is now saved...which is a joyous event!! God is good
When I read this journal entry, God reminded me of this bible verse. Ephesians 3:20-21 \"Now to Him who is able to do far more abundantly beyond all that we ask or think, according to the power that works within us, to Him be the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus to all generations forever and ever. Amen.\" God is soooo GOOOOD!!!
