Wet Mail!
Woke up ok this morning. And it has been raining all morning too! So when it came time to see if we got any mail I noticed the mail man sitting in his truck waiting for it to stop! But what happened was it started raining heavier and he had to finish delivering the mail! Well I checked back a little later and lo and behold a got mail alright! Very soggy mail at that! Now I have a porch and he has a bag that I thought should keep the mail dry! Guess what it doesn't! Wet junk mail is ok but bills and checks should be dry! My husband is gonna be pissed when he sees the soggy mail he has to deal with! I kinda hope he goes to post office and complains! This isn't the first time we got damaged mail! Infact it's about the 10th time! But wet is about the second or third time! I mean are we supposed to pay for a PO box so our mail is in the proper condition? You know how the postage has been going up constantly! I wish we could elimanate all this paper anyway! You'd think the post man would try harder to keep his job when computers could easily take their place in my opinion! I only have one magazine delivered here and i can get it myself at the store if i wanted! Now if only we could have transportation like on Star Trek we would have it made ! Mail and packages would just appear inside the house so you dont have to be home to bring it in! And no-one would know if you got any packages! I like that idea alot! I wonder what that would cost! Guaranteed dry and in perfect condition, safe in your home! Pray all my friends here are happy,safe and painfree!
