wet floor!!!
today went well. i didn't get the kids till 4:30 which is unusual. they usually come down all day, but i enjoyed being lazy and broke my diet and ate sherbet and cookies..i don't do that when they are here.
when they got here they were running around and ran past the front door and the floor was WET three feet by three feet. i called my dad (landlord) and told him about it and he came over with a shop vac and sucked it up. he got as much as possible. he cleared the drain outside and moved my doormat. sad it doesn't destroy the carpet because it is ugly and the previous owners had animals and there are signs of so. oh well i guess i should be grateful for having carpet anyway. there are so many with nothing that i shouldn't be grateful for what i have.
my dad is now reading green eggs and ham with his great grand kids...very humorous, he had them guess what he was going to read next and ashlynn knows the book front to back and caught him anytime he goofed or missed a page. i should have taken a photo. dang, i gotta charge the battery in my camera.
