Small classes and a safe, fun learning environment have been ideal for our family. Yes we use the Kinderm8 program to provide newsfeeds and daily journals. You can use this as an app or on a computer to see your child’s progress and involvement in our educational program which links to the Early Years Learning Framework. Early Childhood Education Centres consist of a Long Day Care Centre including a kindergarten program and two Sessional Kindergartens. Kindergarten is an educational program provided to children in their year before school. Our educators encourage our students to play an active role in environmental care and sustainable development by providing them with a personalised learning experience. Your baby will enjoy engaging in both our indoor and outdoor nursery environments with planned experiences like songs and story time, followed by morning tea. To BE Me is our exclusive learning program designed for each age & stage of a child’s first years, tailored to their age, interests & strengths. Their pathway is personalised, with every milestone captured to makes the link between play & learning clear & memorable.
It offers the support, structure, and inspiration your child needs to thrive. Our unique program for children aged 3-4 and 4-5 years old ensures they are supported to develop the important emotional, social, and thinking skills they need to make A Flying Start to School. A Flying Start to School is implemented by our University-qualified Early Childhood Teachers in a way that is fun and engaging for your child and includes specific. Learning experiences in carefully curated environments that inspire curiosity, collaboration and critical thinking.
Whether it’s building with blocks, practicing their first letters, or learning to share with friends, every experience is carefully designed to support your child’s development. Our Nursery Program is a partnership with your family to ensure every detail of your child’s care supports a healthy, happy baby. This touches every aspect of their first 12 months in a Centre. Familiarity with the rhythm of day provides a sense of security and builds self-confidence.
However Nancy and the educators in the Playful Possums roommade it the best decision. They made dropping off my son so easy, such a loving environment. The inquisitive little learners in this room are learning to become more independent learners. They’re ready to tackle tasks on their own, and can understand simple instructions. Educators work to get them ready for the next steps in their education. Ideal for commuting parents, the centre is just off Castle Hill Road, offers easy access to the M2, and is across the road from Cherrybrook Railway Station.
Being with children is the most rewarding job, as everyday you get to see them grow, learn and change into strong, independent people. Children receive their own My Learning and Development Book, which is updated regularly with their progress. To BE Me is underpinned by Guardian’s world class teaching program that has been developed over many years of research and thousands of hours observing how children develop.
The teachers and staff are wonderful and caring - always supporting our child and ensuring they are well looked after. We inherently trust that our child is safe - something we have questioned elsewhere. Everything is clean, new and well chosen for rich learning experiences. Clearly the business model is working well and in contrast to other companies with multiple sites, Adventures still prioritises selecting staff who are well trained, have strong literacy skills and genuinely care about children. We are not only glad we moved for the safety of our child, but for all that she has gained by being in such a wonderful, supportive and enriching environment.
