We're coping best we can. we learned today, updates on Charlie's passing, and cause
hi angel friends, i have some new updates to share. We've been taking things a minute at a time today, as we cope, and grieve. we're hanging in there best we can. we're very thankful, and appreciate for everyone's love, care, prayers, and support. i'm finding some comfort in talking, sharing memories, stories, of my brother Charlie. it's a very hard, and sad time. my mom and dad went over to Charlie's place today, it was very emotional for them. Jenn and Mike were with them, as they live next door to Charlie's home. it all feels very surreal to us all, and lots of deep sadness.we're all having moments, where we need support, and comforting. i've been keeping in touch with friends here, texts, and emails. The outpouring of love, care, prayers, and support is helping us very much, and keeping us uplifted in these times of need. we'll forever be grateful for everyone reaching out to us, checking in on us, and all of your sympathy and condolences. Your kindness, and caring, brings a comfort to our hearts. we wish we could give you all a hug. we love you angel friends <3
We learned my brother Charlie's cause of death. the medical examiner in Farmington, ct, contacted my mom, and said they were having a conference this afternoon, about the findings from the autopsy. Charlie had mulitple health issues, and ailments, the one that they are leaning toward being the cause of his passing, was most likely a heart attack. The medical examiner told my mom, that Charlie's blood pressure was very dangerously high, leading to the rhythm change in his heart, which they found to be enlarged. He also had Emphysema, and his liver was in poor condition. they have sent the results to the pathology, to confirm, and also to see if there was any other causes, to his passing. from what they shared with my mom, it appears that the high blood pressure, caused a heart attack, combined with enlarged heart, being the leading reason he died.
this is very hard on us all, and truly has been a roller-coaster of emotions for us. we're doing our best to take care of ourselves, being there for eachother, and talking when we need too. my parents had a very hard time going over to his house today. they did bring home of his belongings here, including the bird feeders, that he loved. Holly and i are going to put the bird feeders in our yard, on September 10th (his birthday), as a special tribute in honor of him. Jenn and i have been texting today, she shared with me, the gofundme page link, she created for a fund to help out with Charlie's funeral costs. i sent the link out, for others to share/donate if they can. We're deciding as a family, to have Charlie creamated. my mom and Jenn went to the funeral home today, and picked out an urn with flowers and birds design on it for Charlie. we're most likely going to have a service at the funeral home, and would like to be able to have a burial plot for Charlie, at maplewood cemetary down the road from us. the obituary is also being worked on.
This is very hard on us all, and we're taking things a minute at a time, as our emotions, feelings, are trying to process everything. We're trying our best to hold onto keeping our chins up. my mom has talked often with Holly and i today,it's theraputic, talking. we're very saddened, and grieving Charlie's passing. my mom called me on the phone today, and said, "it's just so surreal". we're all coping in our own ways, and together. we're very thankful for you all, our dear angel friends, our DS family <3 we're thinking of my brother Charlie, very often. our hearts are very heathy with grief. the days, and times, all feel so very different to us all right now. we're going with the flow of the minutes, best we can, making sure we eat, keep hydrated, and also taking all the time we need. Thank you again, our dear angel friends. We're going to try to get some sleep tonight, and getting to sleep earlier. We hope everyone is doing ok, and having a peaceful day. We're with you all, our dear angel friends <3 we wish everyone a peaceful evening, and night.

Please accept my most heartfelt condolences!
Oh, I’m so sorry to hear that. Your brother’s blood pressure was so high that it led to him having a heart attack. I doubt that it’s a little comfort, knowing exactly what the reason was..
I know this is rough on all of you, but please be extra kind to your mother right now because this will hit her the hardest, I remember my mother being devastated when we lost my brother
I know it’s not easy to keep writing when you feel so emotional I can’t stop crying so don’t ever feel the need that you have to write, only do so when you want to.
Know that your brother will always be watching over you and will always be in your hearts and luckily he is at peace and not feeling any pain anymore.
Sending lots of comforting hugs and lots of prayers for you and your family
You and family are in my thoughts and prayers right now. Although this group (https://www.griefshare.org/) has some religious undertones I have gone through this 13 week program at least 4 times since the loss of mom last year. I keep going to an in person support group to connect with others who understand my grief. I'm praying for your comfort during this traumatic journey.(((hug))
